Position: Golf Course Superintendent
Description: Sugarloaf Golf Club is an 18 hole Championship Golf Course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 1985. It has been rated the number 1 golf course in Maine since opening day for twenty-six years in a row. Our ratings have also included top 20 by Golf Magazine and number 8 in aesthetics by Golf Digest. The golf course averages about 18,000 rounds in a season beginning on May 15 and ending on October 15. The Golf School at Sugarloaf has 150 students per year. Up-scale, high quality experience expected by guests. Sugarloaf is affiliated with the Boyne Resorts which owns nine courses and has several resorts throughout the country.
Qualifications: A degree in turf grass management, Maine Supervisory Pesticide Applicators License, minimum three years experience as Superintendent or assistant required. Northern New England experience preferred for winter preparation. Responsibilities: Management of budget, crew, turf grass, safety issues, purchasing, disease control, maintaining Audubon Sanctuary Program.

POINT SEBAGO GOLF
Point Sebago is an 18-hole golf course located on Sebago Lake in Casco Maine.
Opens in April around 15th and closes in mid November.
POSITION: Assistant Superintendent
Position starts March 15th and ends around December15th.
EDUCATION: A 2 year turf degree or winter turf school education is preferred, but will consider 2-4 years of field experience in place of education. Must have applicator license or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable amount of time.
EXPERIENCE: Candidate should have 2 or more seasons of golf maintenance experience, be highly motivated, and be a team player.
DUTIES: To include but not limited to working closely with superintendent and crew.
Oversee and help with various duties such as fertilizing, pesticide application, mowing and projects.
Also must be able to run and maintain Toro irrigation system.

Boothbay Country Club is a private 18 hole golf course with tidal-coastal weather and interesting topography.
Boothbay Country Club is seeking to fill an assistant superintendent position.
The prime candidate will have at least three to five years experience on golf courses, with a degree in Turf-grass management or Agronomy and can produce a pesticide applicators license within 30 to 40 days.
Candidate must be eager and have a strong work ethic.
The Candidate must pre-prep them self with knowledge concerning how coastal weather patterns will effect disease induction verses an inland course.

Asst. Superintendent
Sebasco Harbor Resort located in a spectacular oceanfront setting on Maine’s Midcoast is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for our Nine Hole Course.
Responsibilities include golf course maintenance, fertilizer/pesticide
applications, operation and maintenance of irrigation system (Toro
automatic) and equipment maintenance.
Our Grounds crew is also responsible for some grounds maintenance of the interior resort. This seasonal position (April 1st – November 15th) pays $12 - $14 per hour and offers generous resort amenities including golf, fitness center, staff meals, pool, biking, kayaking, recreation center, boating etc.
Our ideal candidate will have 2 – 4 seasons of golf course maintenance experience, a 2 year degree or a winter school degree, have (or have the ability to obtain) a Maine Board of Pesticide License, excellent communications skills and a good eye for detail.
